And I keep explaining to you that your opinion of my poem isn't that ultimate authority, it is simply your opinion only, Harry Lime. > Your poem depicts you groping a woman Wrong, that's not really what happened. We were having a privacy moment, talking, then kissing, and the new romance was progressing into a foreplay stage. BUT the dream ended before anything else happened. This part is obviously part of the poem but I noticed neither of us have actually mentioned that aspect of the poem and the depiction of events there. > you'd been barely acquainted with > in high school, after having just bumped into her in public. That's basically right but remember this is a dream IN a poem. > Apparently > the groping Again, groping isn't really the right word. See above. > was in response to her having said that you were so shy and > quiet in high school that she'd thought that you were gay. That was one part of our conversation and the girl, who i later called Star Child definitely learned that was a mistaken impression. And again, the poem, like many dreams, ends without a definitive resolution. And so it goes.
