And I keep explaining to you that your opinion of my poem isn't that
ultimate authority, it is simply your opinion only, Harry Lime.

Wrong, that's not really what happened. We were having a privacy moment,
talking, then kissing, and the new romance was progressing into a
foreplay stage.

BUT the dream ended before anything else happened.

This part is obviously part of the poem but I noticed neither of us have
actually mentioned that aspect of the poem and the depiction of events
there.

That's basically right but remember this is a dream IN a poem.

That was one part of our conversation and the girl, who i later called
Star Child definitely learned that was a mistaken impression.

And again, the poem, like many dreams, ends without a definitive
resolution.
