Last time I had lamb was 40+ years ago; it was lamb
stew at work.  There was a parade of us taking our
plates back to the cashier to get our money back and
order something else.  That huge pan of lamb stew
was quickly withdrawn from the serving line and was
never offered again as long as I worked there.  I
worked there for centuries.

Diseased lamb?  Improperly cleaned lamb?  I don't
have a clue, but it was disgusting.
