Just listened to Richter in Ballade 4… (again)

Okay well I might rate him above Debussy and Ravel after all — not Sure
id rate him higher than R Strauss though — but certainly higher than
Liszt as opposed to what I said yesterday…

Samson Francois was also one of the First Pianists I listened to (Slow
movement of ravels g Major it was) when I looked a Bit into Classical
music in the beginning of my twenties (only looked into it for a Bit,
and then didnt care too much until ~7 years later; I also remember how
Howie mentioned him (I think to me) wrt Chopin in my early days here,
and I didnt seem to like it much then (likely because I didnt really
like Chopin much then))
