The terrorists wanted to put the fear of God into the American people.
Mission accomplished. Mr. T's plan to cleanse the Palestinians from
their land guarantees to bring terror into US soil and the internal
fortification of America. In the UK, there are no trash bins at the
train stations and Kevlar suited cops at the airport. They carry
semi-automatic rifles and sidearms. That freaked me out but it'll happen
in the USA sooner or later.
