Well tbh imo Siepi sucks as Don, just as he sucks as Figaro…he sucks
generally it seems..

I much prefer FiDi as Don — and while I prefer Güden and Berger as
Zerlina over Seefried in Fricsay’s Recording i guess its still second
best, After Klemperer’s…

So I will be keeping 2 of Furtwängler‘s DGs mainly for Berger, and
Krips‘ DG for Güden.. Kleiber‘s nozze is out because i just can’t stand
the accompaniment… and the only reason for me to get it would be della
Casa and Güden… but the whole scenes get screwed up by Kleiber anyway..
and the count and siepi..

accompaniment probably)
