Three years ago, my dentist found a soft spot on one of my teeth. He prescribed fluoride tooth paste, which solved the problem in a few months. In terms of abrasiveness, baking soda is RDA (Relative Dentin Abrasion) = 7, which is a "low" abrasive. Good choice. I would prefer something less abrasion. In between, I brush with just water and floss erratically.
