The project was tied to the National Science Foundation under grants DMS-88=
07976 and DMS-9206972.

If you pull the public grant info and contact the named authors and adminis=
trators, you might be able to get the whole food chain of everyone that con=
tributed, then begin going down the list to contact them one-by-one.

The NSF should have archived copies of the original CD-ROMs and research da=
ta. A FOIA request might help.
