(I)  ab + a = 32
(II) ab + b = 35

II-I donne b = a + 3,

on remplace dans I :

a²+4a-32 = 0

de discriminant Δ = 12²

de solutions   a₁= 4, a₂ = -8
respectivement b₁= 7, b₂ = -5
