Do you use dill weed, seed, or both? Also, what other spices?

I've been experimenting with 'fridge' pickles and have the
proportions of major components (salt, sugar, vineger), but
the thousands of recipes on-line do not have an 'official'
B & B list. Coriander seed, turmeric paste, black pepper,
sapsicum and garlic seem ubiquitous but I wonder if you
have any favourites.

I have seen recipes with any of cinnamon bark, cloves, allspice,
and nutmeg. I am tempted by fenugreek.
