For me, it's easier to avoid accident by giving the name of the program I want to stop to killall, than by giving the number of the process to kill. By far. Because I can make a mistake in copying the process number or in looking at the line in which it's displayed. When it's very difficult to make a mistake using the name and the tabular key to use the name of the process. So, for me, killall is by far the best way to prevent accidents. And knowing it's working differently on slowlaris, which I don't use, isn't an interesting reason for me to stop using it. -- Si vous avez du temps à perdre : https://scarpet42.gitlab.io
