En revanche, en l'absence de corrélation, il n'y a, en principe, pas de 
causalité possible. Une technique pour éliminer une bonne partie des 
corrélations fortuites consiste à dériver les deux séries. Si la 
corrélation persiste, on peut se lancer avec plus de confiance dans 
l'étude d'une relation causale.
