I played... one of the Killing Floors (I think it was the first). It
was mostly intended, I think, as a co-op shooter. I couldn't really
see the appeal. Aside from ludicrous gore and silly-looking monsters,
it didn't stand out for me. It felt like a budget "Left 4 Dead". It
certainly didn't leave a lasting impression and didn't make me want to
go back and play the other game(s) in the series.

Maybe its gotten better over the years. I'm not particularly inspired
to find out.
