Really?  You now have a step-son?  You never mentioned that
previously.  The number of step-children seem to vary as much as the
number for Ford Taurus (X?) vehicles you're owned and crashed.

The "middle daughters" (plural) seems to suggest a total of 4
step-daughters.  Add a step-son and you now have five step-children.
Is it 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 step-children?  I can dig out more links where
you claim to have a variable number of step-children.
