The important paramenter of a rifle is muzzle energy and nobody cares
about momentum as it is the energy that causes the damage and momentum
has little to do with it, creackpot.

Further, muzzle energy in a rifle is determined by the ammunition and
not the rifle itslelf, crackpot.

Imagine a rifle that fires a 100,000 pound projectile at 0.1 feet/sec;
at impact the projectile would mearly push something away doing little
to no damage, crackpot.
