Remember---we are the ones that really know how to run it, not Whatsapp, Facebook users. So I think we all should host our own mail again, host our own code, our own NNTP servers, our own mailing lists... I also feel that things are changing. To what I don't know, but essentially when the changes become more clear, we'd be ourselves ready with solutions and also not worried that we're helping the movement that's hurting us. It feels great to realize that we don't put in even a cent towards this movement.
