Jack Vance's Gaean Reach books often refer to a variety of books, in
particularby  Navarth (who appears in _The Palace of Love_) , _The Book
of Dreams_ by Howard Allan Treesong (most notably inVances novel _The
Book of Dreams)  and works by Baron Bodissey.
