Portuguese is a language in broad use across the globe (due in large
part to Portugal's colonial past), whereas few people outside Slovakia
speak Slovak. Of course,..

English is the lingua franca, and the U.S. has a culturally diverse
population, making the U.S. an appealing place to immigrate to...
