My mother, being a young bride at the beginning of the Depression
and being a farm girl, knew how add to and stretch a meal.  Nothing
was ever wasted or thrown out because "we've already eaten this in
another dish a few days ago."

I must admit I'm not as fond of the canned baby limas as I
am the frozen ones.  But that's all I have in stock at the
