That's interesting.  By the way I have added some line editing
functionality.  I used ^Q and ^R for begin and end string, ^T and ^U for
word deletion, and ^K begin after cursor and ^B delete before cursor.  I
don't know if it's the best thing to do, but it should be possible to
modify it in the future.
