Back when I was in high school, my friend drove up to me, while I was
getting into my 65 Chevy Nova junker, all excited. He had just gotten a
used BMW 1600 and wanted to take me for a ride. I said "okay." I was
just a dumb kid that didn't care about cars and didn't see why he was so
excited. He took me for a nice ride on the twisty road in the area.
Beats the heck out of me where a high school kid learned to drive like
that. That guy was always smarter than the rest of us kids. I think he
was abused by his father. Perhaps that's the key.

My granddaughter's baby daddy was going to get a BMW from his uncle.
That never happened. It's just as well. There's not much point in giving
a kid like that a car like that. These days, he drives a new GTI. That's
just as well, it's much more practical, right?
