Technologically we have the means to get all the energy we want and need, 
and desalination plants would then give us all the water we need.

The only thing stopping this from happening are politicians and 
eco-fascists, who realize that they would be out of a job, if we had all 
the energy we need. There would be peace, and no need for their politics.
