Hmm, I see a 2160p (4K) version showing up on the gray. Doesn't say it
is remastered as they usually do if someone is upscaling it so
presumably this came 4K from the source.

Yeah, many of those changes are completely unnecessary. Especially for

At some point I'll actually watch this season of DOCTOR WHO. Not sure
when, but I know it will happen eventually. First time I've ever put
off watching episodes in ... forever.
