Les oranges de Jaffa, l’une des villes les plus prospères et peuplées 
de Palestine, sont un symbole fort et commun à l’histoire des peuples 
palestiniens et juifs.

Avec les vagues d’immigration juive dès la fin du 20e siècle, la 
culture passe progressivement de la propriété des Palestiniens à celle 
des cultivateurs juifs, pour finalement devenir un monopole israélien 
lors de la proclamation de l’état d’Israël en 1948.
