Works great! An "old/weak" WINDOWS laptop becomes a perfectly good LINUX laptop. So, don't be in a huge hurry to put yer old tech into the bin. It can live on. Mac ... um ... you're probably stuck with their OS - but even then they can be relegated to 2nd-tier services. Batteries ... check around. It's surprising how many odd laptop batts you can find. Had to replace one in an old laptop recently and the name-brand batt was on Amazon at a good price.
