NOT sure what he meant by "serious" - pure whatever servers perhaps ? Those ARE "serious" - and at the moment I'd rec OpenBSD. But the word "serious" extends to MANY Big-$$$ kinds of apps - text/marketing, GIS and Video and now "AI" access. Linux/Unix is NOT always the best for those alas - most everyone writes for Winders ... so GOTTA COPE. As for those servers ... for most Biz they're moving to 'cloud' apps. It's dangerous and stupid but they're doing it anyway. SEEMS so wunnerful ... and you don't need to hire any annoying smelly systems geeks !
