Had no idea 3d printing was that expensive in comparison. More than I can justify now ... For a relatively minimal box to hold the Pi/Hat/Drives, figuring 4x5x10 inches. Tiny printers may not be able to do that. Anyway, they're relatively thin anodized aluminum sheet with a 'decorative' pattern punched through. I've seen several variations. In any case they look good and are easy to cut and bend to shape. The downside could be partial blocking of wifi/BT signals if you cover the Pi itself.
