Weird how Bannon gets incarcerated for contempt of Congress for defying
a congressional subpoena, yet Democrats seem to have blanket immunity
for contempt of Congress charges.

Lois Lerner, Obama IRS executive, defied a congressional subpoena to
testify about her apparently partisan policy of denying 501(3)(c) status
only to conservative groups. She was found in contempt of Congress.
Obama's DOJ refused to prosecute. Nothing happened to her.

Eric Holder, Obama's attorney general, defied a congressional subpoena
to testify about DOJ's Fast & Furious gunrunning program. He was found
in contempt of Congress. Obama's DOJ refused to prosecute. Nothing
happened to him.

Merrick Garland, the current attorney general, has defied a
congressional subpoena to produce records and testify about Hur's
interview with Biden over the stolen classified documents that were
found in Biden's garage. In fact, Garland has announced his intention to
defy *all* congressional subpoenas sent to him if they come from
Republican-controlled committees. The House has advanced contempt
charges against him. If he's found to be in contempt, what do you
suppose the over/under is on Biden's DOJ prosecuting its own attorney
general?
