i suppose it does have its merits.

i mean, everyone loves the age-old tradition of opening up and reading
their fortune cookies after a great movie of chinese food with family
and/or friends. and then you add...."in bed" at the end.

i bet someone who WROTE (created) the fortunes with THAT in mind, could
come up with some seemingly unintentional really HYSTERICALLY FUNNY
ONES!!! have everyone around the communal restaurant table all cracking
up. that would be fun. :-)

i loooooove panda express. orange chicken, honey sesame chicken (i think
that's what it is/was?), that red hot fire beef, hang on, i have to go
look them up, i want to, omg, you have no idea what it's going to be
like to get out of here, and buy my own food, i'll probably gain 100
pounds. just perusing online, makes me DROOL. but then i see myself, and
think of my weight, and know that's just not what i need right now. and
of course, if i can lose it, i most CERTAINLY, do NOT want to gain it
BACK!!!!!!!!

beijing beef (i swear i THOUGHT that's what it was called) and chow
mein.

holy moly.

also, kung pao, mushroom chicken, and beef with broccoli to balance out
all that sweetness and deep friend

now THAT'S heaven (panda). oops, sorry.

can we get it delivered to our home, rachel c/o bob dylan's king size
bed, malibu, calif ?

queen is fine, too. i have a queen if you wanna come hang with me, too.
i think we have to start there...i already explained why, when it
finally hit me about what it would mean, to do.....

what did i do for my baby?

well, see, i collect fortunes from fortune cookies. i just do. and so i
had a big jewelry type box (just wood, carved) filled with them. it was
getting too full, and it was chinese new year.

so, i took a big piece of cardboard, and started gluing them all one, in
columns, one next to the other, a whole series, and i just picked them
out randomly, but the thing was, it was like they told a story....they
were all connected, like the way we do convo using dylan lyrics, or that
game where there are lots of people, and each person contributes a line
to write a poem, more like that....it was telling a story, or something,
i forget exactly, but it was SO COOL to make it, because it was also
mentally stimulating for ME, and it was like a game for ME, too, not
just the menial chore of gluing paper onto a board.
