I know it's good, everyone loves it, but can't bring myself to play it.
It seems too old at this point.

While I kind of like the setting, it's certainly not for the most boring
faction. Give me Orcs, or Necron! Those were much more interesting in
the no ancient RTS I played.

Well I flipped a number of games, mostly as I got PS+ for my son for his
birthday, but my daughter and I hogged it for a bit. After my son
insisted on his PS5 back, I tried the cloud streaming on PC, but it
didn't work very well and I could really see the difference in input
lag. It's probably o.k. for any turn based games, but I seem to tend
toward action more these days, my old BG1 hating self would be furious
at me.
Anyway I tried on the PS5:
* the 2nd Jedi Survior game, but got tired of all the 3rd person
platforming puzzles rather quickly.
Hogwarts, I kind of liked it, but the PS5 was taken away before I could
get too far in it. I might buy it on deep discount on the PC if it ever
gets to that point.
Various older EDFs, like 2025 and Insect Armageddon, neither clicked.
Also World Brothers so I could finally play it local co-op (I'm still
pissed they didn't include local co-op on PC like all the other EDF
games.) It sucked on PS5 though as the aiming with controller is
horrible for what's essentially a 3rd person shooter.
Sack Boy as it's supposed to be one of the best local co-op games. -
o.k. but didn't hold interest for us long. I wouldn't mind playing it
some more, but my daughter hasn't asked and then there's getting some
time with the PS5
Cult of the Lamb. my daughter didn't seem to be into it on co-op, but I
really enjoyed it, so started playing it on PS+ the input lag is
horrible, but it just makes it a bit more challenging, so playing it on
normal. I'm still playing it.
I also compared Bloodborne on streaming vs. PS5, and I can now tell you
I 100% the game last year on hard mode due to the input lag. I'd like to
actually play this again, on the PS5 and get to the DLCs which I didn't
do, but no idea when that's going to be possible.
Days Gone on streaming, it was unplayable due to input lag, I couldn't
drive the motorcycle. I did get through the motorcycle sequence
eventually, but I wasn't up for more of that. I got to briefly try it
on the PS5 and the motorcycle chase was fine, but I wasn't super interested.
And of course on the PC
* Nightreign. While as I said I finally beat the first boss after 20
hours, and have some idea what I'm doing now, the fact it seems more
like an anti-boss rush as you have to go through 45 minutes of play
before you get to the real boss. I still have a want to play it more,
but my son may be interested, so waiting to see after he finishes elden
ring. He seems to be stuck on the last boss though and doesn't like ER
much. Also waiting seems to be good as they keep adding much needed
things like the latest patch that has info on what type of weapon
weapons are, as the names don't reflect what they actually are.
I bought all those games on the sales on PC so I've got a lot to try
after I finish Cult of the Lamb.
