Inflation has been wrangled >down to 2.4% in a growing economy and the Argentine MERVAL >bourse is the world's best performing exchange for 2024. I don't believe more than 1% of Argentineans even know what the MERVAL is. It's something foreign "actors" bet on. Same with Brazil's stock exchange. I've never risked anything on it. Too much corruption and insider trading. Absolute poverty for over 50% of the population, largest unemployment in over 20 years, the GNP plunged 3.4% this year(the worst in South America). Over 10.000 small and medium businesses closed. Foreign and local debt rose, Milei just got a new loan from the IMF. Massive increases in taxes for the working class. Only the military, judiciary and politicians were unscathed by the cuts. The joke is that Milei promises to replace the people's savings and salaries and pensions with bitcoins. After it reaches the maximum, of course. When that tumbles, they'll lose everything. Don't know it that's true, but Musk bought heavily before Bitcoin started rising, and he's one of Milei's unofficial "advisors". It'll be a transfer of all the people's savings to Musk's pockets.** Crazy teaching Crazy. What could go wrong? []'s ** same think is happening in the US. People are going to lose a lot of money with bitcoin. > >Eden? Not yet.
