I love vampire movies, usually. For the most recent I've seen
"Renfield" was pretty good. Nicholas Cage made a very good Dracula.
Obviously that one's a bit more camp than serious, and from the
perspective of a modern Renfield. (didn't go over great with critics,
but audience seems to like it)

I also really liked the e-book "A Journey of Black and Red"
Obviously inspired somewhat inspired by Interview with a Vampire,
possibly a bit by V:tM (though I'm not that familiar with V:tM other
than the computer game Bloodlines which is a must play.)

It starts off a bit confusing due to the state of the protag, but
eventually gets really good and almost reads like based on an RPG
campaign what with having to deal with increasingly deadly threats.
