Last week I finally saw A Complete Unknown -- the Bob Dylan biopic from
last year.

In one scene, the actor who plays Dylan complains that Columbia forced
him to record only "covers" on his first album.

I'm not even as obsessively opposed to the word as some of y'all, and
the scene made me cringe. Painfully anachronistic.
