No, Donkey, it hasn't. You first posted a message to Jim, in which you told him that his money had been spend on a good cause -- steak dinner for three. When Jim told you that the money had been meant for Stinky Zod (not for you and your brother), you sent him an email which he reposted. In the email you describe how you called Stinky George and said "I just got Jim's money. What do say about going out for steak" (paraphrased from memory). Here's what has actually been clear from the first: 1) You posted Stinky George's sob story to the group, and wondered aloud about what poor Stinky G could do. You went on to explain how Stinky George was still recovering from his accident and unable to work. You further told us that he had applied for, and been approved to receive, assistance from the VA, and that a check was being processed for him. He just needed something to tide his landlord over until the VA check arrived. There is no reason to believe that Stinky George was aware of your attempt to solicit monetary aid on his behalf. 2) Jim offered to send money, and asked you for a mailing address. 3) You gave Jim *your* address. 4) Jim posted that the money had been mailed and was on its way. 5) You then preemptively covered your ass, by telling Jim that you wouldn't have given Stinky G any money because he'll only spend it on booze, weed, and whores. 6) Jim asked you to give the money directly to Stinky's landlord. 7) You immediately nixed that idea (without first consulting the landlord) on the grounds that Stinky had stiffed him out of several months' rent and had already given Stinky an eviction notice. This runs directly counter to the original sob story/solicitation you'd posted here. 8) Jim then asked you to be responsible for the money and to see that it was spend on supplies that a homeless Stinky G would need for survival (a tent, blankets, sleeping bag, non-perishable foodstuffs, etc.). 9) You sent Jim a post in which informed him that his money had been spend on a good cause -- steak dinner for three. 10) You later sent him an email in which you described how you called Stinky when the check arrived, and suggested going out for steak. It's clear to this observer that you orchestrated the entire scam without Stinky George's knowledge. When the money arrived you took Stinky and Dave out to dinner. When Stinky found out what you'd done, he attacked you and Dave with a metal rod. > >> And, of course, either that night or the following one, > > I'm not sure the events happened that close to each other but it was in > the same general time period, Fall 2015. > >> you made you >> made that famous post about how you and Brother Dave had been attacked > > Not a very good night, no. > >> by a "maniac" with a metal rod. > > I don't remember the timeline now, 2015 was, after all, a decade ago. > >> The "maniac" turned out to be [Zod] [childish name calling snipped] >> who'd waylaid you both >> outdoors. >> >> You've been buddies with for... what?... thirty or forty years? > > I've known Zod and his family since 1983. > >> had never attacked you and Dave with a metal rod before. > > No, but Zod was pretty wild that night. > >> AFAIK, he hasn't attacked you since. >> >> You claimed that [childish name calling snipped] was just "blackout >> drunk" > > Yes, Zod was acting pretty crazy that night. > >> and that it was only >> the booze that brought on the attack. > > Yes, Zod was drinking a lot during that period of time. > >> But you've never breathed a work > > A work? > >> about any other "blackout drunk" attacks >> >> Could it have been that [Zod] was unaware that the $50 had been >> for him? > > No, I gave him the $50 immediately when it arrived in the mail. > >> I know that if I were about to be thrown out on the street, > > It's easy to sit back and say what you'd do in another man's shoes, but > in the end you're simply daydreaming. > > and someone >> had sent my friend $50 to tide my landlord over until a check I was >> expecting arrived > > By the time Zod got the $50 the landlord had already served eviction > papers and all that. > > I remember Zod saying the landlord either wanted the full amount owed or > Zod would have to go. > > Senetto sent Zod the money and Zod spent it as he pleased, as was his > right, of course. > > HTH and HAND. --
