Mozart otoh… like before i started listening to cm more thoroughly I was
really not thinking too much of Mozart — in part because I haven’t heard
much of his music, especially the operas back then — or rather I didn’t
really think about Mozart at all — it’s not that I didn’t think much of
him, I just didn’t really think about him…

I remember liking Ravel and Debussy before having listened to much cm —
and I remember having troubles with Beethoven from the beginning — but
then when I began listening more thoroughly I was at first drawn to
Beethoven… you know because of all the talk about him… and I just didn’t
really like much of it… then when I listened to Mozarts Zauberflöte…
like holy fuck… it was making me go crazy basically… and still does…
what a beautiful work…
