Unfortunately sometimes the problem is a bit more fatal, albasani.net used to be a rather steadfast free server, but that one got done in by the death of it's admin. But anyway, I realized lately that the usenet top1000 now doesn't even have 1000 servers in it anymore. I mean, this place has lain fallow for a while, but at least servers were running. That's not the case anymore. (and I realized my small uucp server is in the top 300)
