Interesting stuff. Ti-48 CAN have a classical nuclear structure BUT if you use some energy to try and pin that down it seems to spit two protons into a sort of orbit around the main nucleus - a very odd structure ... almost "Calcium +2". QM teaches that "observation" changes what you're observing - ie 'tampering' shakes-up things, can kinda force atoms/systems into some or another "observed reality". In any case, Titanium is an important modern-tech metal. This weirdness may impact that at times.
