If you're enjoying a fun saturday in front of your beloved Mac OS (like I do
right now!) give this one a try - a comeback of Archie:

http://archie.macdomain.net/

If you don't know what it is, I dare describe it as kind of a search-engine for
public FTP servers (yep, remember FTP?). Since Google & others won't index FTP
servers, they tend to fly under the radar - but it's so cool to connect to one
via Fetch/Transmit and start exploring and downloading!

From what I understand the index of FTP servers on Archie is slowly being
expanded and in fact, I do see more results searching for "Macintosh" than I did
just two weeks ago. So it might be worth to come back after some time and do
another search as they keep expanding their database.
