I think that you are attempting to imply that I didn't walk to school
which of course I did. In fact the School bus would only stop if the
kid loved was more then a mile from the school.

In my generation most people walked if it was only a mile, Cars were
for going to church on Sunday and perhaps a Sunday afternoon drive
with the family. Why in the world would anyone want to waste all that
money on gasoline when one could walk.

And, you know, you rarely saw anyone that was  fat while today  every
American tourist I see here is obscenely fat.
