The former is a surreal third-person puzzler/platformer (of the usual Indie-bent: small child in horrific situations with shadowy visuals). "Jagged Alliance" is an 'isometric' tactical strategy game using modern-warfare tactics and situations. They are almost as far apart in tone, gameplay and style as two video games can get. They don't even share the same developers. It's sort of like saying "Super Mario Bros. 3" got me started on "DCS: A-10 Warthog". I mean, I'm sure there's a connection, but I absolutely cannot see it.
