My OpenSUSE 13.2 install defaulted to btrfs and it didn't go well. It 
would start to boot and go off to a black screen. I reformatted to ext4 
which worked perfectly and never looked back. I'd been using reiserfs but 
there was some sort of problem with the way Reiser solved his marital 
problems that orphaned the project.
