After it went paid they were using a European version of PayPal,
Click'n'Buy iirc. Every year I would get an alert from MasterCard about
suspicious activity when the 10 Euro charge hit. I would approve it and
life went on. C'n'B folded eventually and now they use PayPal so it goes
much smoother.

It keeps me in tune with exchange rates. It used to be about US$ 15, but
now it's $10.92. When the EU gets through screwing around it might become
a real bargain.
