Well, this is actually true.

But 'truth' is usually perceived as corellation of a certain statement 
with the set of 'incorporated' foreknowledge.

Since that are actually a set of prejudices and those based on all sorts 
of questionable sources, like newspapers, soap operas, books, comics, 
movies, tv-dramas and so on, the repetion of lies would make people 
think, that dinosaurs are still alive (if the news, the latest book or 
Homer Simpson say so).
