Horenstein and probably a few others. At this point, I want to avoid drawing premature conclusions, but I think that only the Haitink recordings (Concertgebouw, Vienna Philharmonic) may eventually turn out to be dispensable. Meanwhile, I have bought a few more Bruckner boxes (they're all great, judging from my first impressions): Blomstedt (Accentus), Knappertsbusch (Decca), Jochum (DGG), Celibidache (DGG), Rosbaud, Skrowaczewski, Wandt (Profil). It's just a matter of priorities in this short life. -- Roland van Gaalen The Netherlands
