  Concernant la question abordée dans un autre sujet, à savoir si
  un kilogramme de plomb est plus « lourd » qu'un kilogramme de
  plumes, je voudrais dire ceci :

  Une version du Petit Robert datant des années 70 écrit à propos
  de « lourd » : « Difficile, pénible à porter, à déplacer,
  en raison de son poids. ». - Cela laisse une certaine marge
  d'interprétation, à savoir que ce terme ne doit pas nécessairement
  être assimilé au terme technique physique de poids élevé,
  mais pourrait également désigner ce qui, en langage technique,
  est une densité élevée ou un poids spécifique élevé. -
  Le langage courant ne connaît pas de mots spécifiques pour
  ces termes techniques, de sorte qu'il pourrait se contenter
  d'utiliser « lourd » pour les désigner.
