The problem with ignoring laws is they can be enforced, london 20mph areas which is most of it by now, are enforced rigidly, which has caught the taxi drivers out as they do push their luck ie 33mph and bit more in the 30 zones! So being done for 21mph was a shock but it’s what happens if you game the system. I’d also say that as ever it displays who the roads are designed for, quite a different experience in suburban villages in london for example or else where in the world which tends to be less car brain which very much is a American thing or at least taken to such extent.
