It's always good to inspire healthy fear in the neighbors. The Navajo
refer to themselves as Dine while Navajo supposedly comes from a Hopi word
for head bashers.

Most tribes term for themselves is a word that translates to 'the real
people'. Most Anglo names came from asking a tribe with friendly relations
what the pople on the other side of the ridge were called. 'Big bellied,
pierced nose snakes!'

I'm not suggesting torture but making life very difficult for illegal
aliens instead of handing them EDT cards might suggest things weren't all
that bad back in wherever. Even Adams caught on eventually.
