You might have some preconceptions about what a guy named Romanowski looks 
like. The character is present in most of C.J. Box's Joe Picket novels.

The novels describe him as big and blonde. Box must have been told that 
the series was sort of like a cop buddy show and one of the cops has to be 
black. There is also another black character who portrays and ex Wyoming 
game warden who is the unofficial mayor of a small town. Wyoming? Yeah, 
okay.

I gave up on 'Vikings: Valhalla' after the second episode. The female, 
black jarl of 'Kattegat' was the last straw. Okay, the Kattegat is the sea 
between Denmark and Sweden, not a historical town, and Lagertha may have 
been a creation of Saxo, but I'll go with this version:
