There was the friendly squirrel we fed and then there was his cousins out in the woods that fed us. Before my time but my parents raised a pig. Pig farming is one thing but raising one pig is something else since pigs are quite intelligent. The pig got butchered in the fall and eaten but the experiment wasn't repeated. They stuck to chickens.
