Oracle licenses are not cheap and support is an extra cost option; Postgres is free. Most of our clients use SQL Server. Not as robust as Oracle or expensive although it's not cheap. The only RFP that required Oracle was from the DOI. Nothing is too good when you're spending the taxpayers' money.
