Paul, exactly how does my claim regarding historians show hyperbole? I gave a citation and facts. Having 33 registered Democrats for every registered Republican among historians seems like good evidence to me. And that doesn't even include the other liberals. In 72 of the 170 departments studied (includes the other 4 areas in addition to historians), the number of registered Republicans was less than or equal to the number of registered Green Party and Working Families Party members! History is a unique academic field. You get tenure by having new ideas about events in the past which is much easier for liberals looking to upset conventional history (which I agree needed upsetting in many cases.) Chris
